THE LEADERSHIP OF JESUS' CHURCH...

Jesus' church was both universal and local and yet it would have no earthly leader. The concept of a world-wide Pope or President is foreign to the teachings of the Scriptures.

Each church in the local sense was autonomous and independent, yet shared a sense of belonging to a universal body under the leadership of Christ Himself.
