ABOUT US...
We are a fully autonomous group of Christians living in several different locations around Queensland, Australia, who share a common faith in Christ Jesus and who try to live by the Word of God, the Bible, in all that we do.
Like the original church of the 1st Century, we have no denominational ties or affiliation, simply believing the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and the sole authority for what we teach and practice.
We meet via the internet and Zoom each Sunday morning to worship and to have fellowship together, with each family simultaneously singing and breaking bread in their own homes around a central PowerPoint format hosted from Kingaroy, Queensland, Australia.
We reject the confusion and hypocrisy of modern corporate churches, choosing to follow the Bible as our only authority for what we teach and practice. Believing that the Bible is God's enduring message to mankind and that "all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16 – Webster), we also reject the centuries of false teaching from various religious leaders and so-called "Christian denominations" that continue to fragment and divide God's people.
Instead, we seek to be Christians, and Christians only, and to follow the teachings of Jesus and His apostles – to follow in the footprints of Jesus. As Christians, or disciples of Christ, we also follow the uncomplicated church structure and respectful form of worship adopted by 1st Century Christians, not adding to nor taking away from God's Word (Revelation 22:18-19).
Acts 17:11, "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so."
ACTS 11:26
"And the disciples of Jesus were called Christians first in Antioch."
MATTHEW 28:18-20
"And Jesus came, and spoke to them, saying, All power is given to me in heaven and upon earth.
Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen."
